    How to Trim MP3 Files on Windows 10

    How to Trim MP3 Files?

    One of the most popular media formats for audio and video files is MP3. Cutting these files only takes a minute and requires very little technical knowledge. Therefore, let go of your concerns about wasting a lot of time. You have several choices; keep reading to learn about them.

    Method 1: Using the VLC Media Player

    Almost everyone on our PCs has VLC installed. On the Windows 10 desktop, you can use the program directly to edit MP3 files. Here’s how to do it:

    • Use VLC Media Player on your PC and open the audio file.
    • Select Advanced Controls by clicking on View.
    • Click the red button next to the Audio play option. Choose the play option from where you want to cut your file.
    • Click the red button again to stop at the specified location.
    • After that, choose Preferences by clicking on Tools.
    • Select Codecs / Input.
    • Choose Browse… under the Recording directory or filename under Files.

    Click Save after selecting the final folder of your choice.

    Note: Before beginning the trimming process, choose your preferred location to have audio files automatically saved at the destination.

    You can now effectively trim MP3 files using VLC.

    Method 2: Audacity Software

    Users often employ the well-known program Audacity to record, edit, and improve audio recordings. To learn how to trim files, adhere to the instructions below:

    • Click File after launFileg the program on your computer.
    • Select Audio by clicking Audio Import.
    • Select the MP3 file, then press the Open button.
    • Choose the audio segment you want to cut, then drag the mouse pointer to the desired location.
    • From the menu, choose Trim Audio after clicking on Remove Special.

    Note: To trim the selected Audio, use the Audioard shortcut Ctrl + C instead.

    Click File and choose File Projects or Save Project As to save your clip.

    Method 3: Website for Audio Trimmer

    • Go to Audio Trimmer’s official website and select files from the main menu.
    • Choose the desired file and press the FileOpen button.
    • After adjusting the sliders to your desired cutting, click Crop.
    • Select “Download.”
