    How to Uninstall Valorant from Riot Client

    Due to its strategic levels and endearing characters, Riot Games’ well-known online game Valorant has gained a global following of players. But there can be a day when you have to bid on it. We can assist you in any case, whether you want a fresh start, need to free up disc distance, or need to take a break from gaming. Let’s look at how to remove Valorous from Riot Client!

    How do you remove valorant using the Riot Client?

    Although most people would think that uninstalling Valorant merely takes a few clicks, the process can be a little more involved than that. So, let’s go right to it without destroying any more time.

    Method 1: Through Vanguard Uninstall

    Disabling Riot Client’s anti-cheat system, Vanguard, is a prerequisite for successfully uninstalling Valorant. To achieve the same, take the actions listed below:

    1. select the System tray icon on your desktop from the taskbar’s lower right corner.

    2. Select Exit Vanguard with a right-click on the Legion icon.

    3. When the confirmation message arises, click Yes.

    4. select Programs when the Control Panel opens using the main menu.

    5. Go to Programs and Features and select Uninstall software.

    6. After swiping down, right-click Vanguard.

    7. Choose Uninstall/Change and press the “Yes” button.

    8. Then, select Uninstall/Change with a right-click on Valorant.

    9. After selecting Yes, Riot Client will uninstall Valorant.

    Method 2: Using Features & Apps

    To confirm that Valorant has been deleted from Riot Client, you can also uninstall it from your desktop settings. Here’s how to do it:

    1. Click on Apps after opening System Preferences.

    2. From the menu on the left, select Apps & Features.

    Note: Select Installed programs in Windows 11.

    3. Select Valorous by swiping down.

    4. Select “Uninstall.”

    5. At the confirmation box, choose Uninstall.

    Method 3: Using a Command Prompt

    It is also likely that Valorant and Vanguard will be installed manually. See how to:

    1. In the search bar, type “Command” and select “Run as manager.”

    2. Press the Yes button.

    3. Press Enter after entering the command “sc delete vgc.”

    4. Next, input the command “sc delete vgk” and press Enter.

    That concludes the successful uninstallation of both programs.

    Method 4: Using File Explorer

    Finally, you can remove the Valorant game file folder from the computer by finding the Riot Client location path. To complete, take the following actions:

    1. Click on the C: folder in File Explorer.

    Note: Click on the folder you selected when downloading the application, even though Riot Games’ default download location is the C: folder.

    2. Click Riot Games after swiping down.

    3. Select Valorous and hit Delete.

    4. Next, press the Windows and R keys to launch the Run dialogue box.

    5. Enter %localdata% and press the Enter key.

    6. Press Delete after scrolling down and selecting the appropriate folder.
