    How to Add Product to Facebook Marketplace

    Since the beginning, Facebook Marketplace has increased its reach. Nowadays, it encompasses more items than merely commercial goods, such as furniture and clothing. These instructions will help you add your products if you’re a new vendor.

    Method 1: Via Desktop

    1. Using a PC, you can add goods to Facebook Marketplace. This is the method.
    2. Select “Create new listing” from the panel on the left.
    3. Under “Select listing type,” choose among items for sale, autos for sale, or land for sale or rent.
    4. From the left panel, click Add Photos and choose your favorite pictures or movies.
    5. Click on Open.
    6. Next, please put the name of your product and its quantity in the corresponding Title and Price boxes.
    7. After clicking on Category, pick your preferred selection.
    8. Choose the Condition of your goods by clicking on Condition.
    9. In the Description box, provide a brief product description by clicking More Details.
    10. Select your region by clicking on Location.
    11. After publishing the listing, turn on the Promote listing option and, if you want, hide it from friends.
    12. Click on Next now.
    13. Select “Publish” by clicking.

    Method 2: Via Mobile

    Additionally, you can use your phone to add things to Facebook Marketplace. To achieve the same, take the steps listed below:

    1. After logging in, select the hamburger icon in Facebook’s lower right corner.
    2. Press the Marketplace button.
    3. From the top ribbon, tap Sell.
    4. Click the “Create listing” button.
    5. Under Create a Listing, pick an option from the list of Things, Cars, and Residences for sale or rent.
    6. Now, please enter the name of your product and its amount in the corresponding Title and Price boxes.
    7. After tapping on Category, pick your preferred selection.
    8. To choose the item’s state, tap Condition.
    9. Click on “Description” to include a brief description of the product.
    10. Select your region by tapping on Location.
    11. Mark the option corresponding to your preferred meeting method: public meeting, doorway pick-up, or door drop-off.
    12. Turn on the corresponding toggle if you also want to hide from friends.
    13. Click on Next now.
    14. Click the Publish button.
    15. The Facebook Marketplace will soon have your goods added and available for purchase.

    How Much Does Facebook Charge to List and Sell on Marketplace?

    If you sell your goods locally, Facebook doesn’t require you to list them. However, the platform takes 5% of the retail cost or a fixed $0.40 fee for shipping of $8.00 or less when a customer orders shipping after you legally sell your product.

    What Items Can be Sold on Facebook Marketplace?

    The following categories of goods are available for sale on Facebook Marketplace:

    Which Products Are Not Eligible for Sale on Facebook Marketplace?

    On Facebook Marketplace, users are prohibited from selling several product categories, including:

    • Subscriptions or digital goods.
    • Items that are insulting, misleading, or deceptive.
    • Anything connected to and made from tobacco.
    • Explosives, ammo, or weapons.
    • Creatures.
    • Goods related to medicine or healthcare.
    • Genuine, digital, or counterfeit money.
    • Supplements that are ingested.
    • Services for real money gambling.
    • Prescribed, illicit, or recreational drugs.
    • Goods related to medicine or healthcare.
    • Goods and services for adults.
    • Recalled goods.
