Windows 10’s many widgets, including travel, sports, calendars, and more, can alter your screen and increase productivity. The time and date gadget is also part of it, so you can see the time without launching any apps. If you’re using Windows 10 and are interested in how to make it easier to see the time and date on your desktop, we’ve got you covered. Shall we discover?

How do you display the date and time on your desktop?

You can now easily keep track of time with a digital clock that you can access with a single click. Keep reading to find out how you can obtain the widgets.

    Method 1: Customization

Depending on your preference, you may set your desktop to show the time and date in one of two ways. In this way:

Option 1: Using the Themes Options

If you want to see the clock and time on your desktop, you may do that by adjusting the theme settings. To imitate this, follow these steps:

    1. Go to the main menu under Settings and select Personal.
    2. Select Themes.
    3. Afterward, go to Clock and Calendar and toggle the option to “Show date and time on the desktop” to the “Yes” position.
    4. With this approach, you can add the clock and time icons to your desktop without problems.

    Option 2: From Taskbar Settings

Windows 10’s taskbar, accessible from any app or desktop, allows you to add the date and time tray immediately. In this way:

    1. Find “Personalization” in the Settings menu and click on it.
    2. From the option on the left, choose Taskbar.
    3. Toggle the switch for the system icons’ on/off status by scrolling down.
    4. Toggle the Clock on/off switch.

Option 3: From Lock Screen Settings

Your third option for accessing Personalization from the desktop clock and time is to use the Lock Screen setting. I’ll show you how:

    1. Find “Personalization” in the Settings menu and click on it.
    2. Hit the “Lock screen” button.
    3. Select “Calendar” by clicking the + sign.
    4. To access the clock, click the + sign.

Method 2: Via Time & Language

You can permanently add a time and date device to your desktop by entering the Time and Location settings. Here are the steps to follow:

Locate Time & Language in the Settings menu.

    Choose the time and date.

The System tray has a toggle that you may turn on to display the time and date.

Your desktop now displays the current time and date.

Can Windows 10’s Date and Time app allow you to make changes?

Indeed, Windows 10 makes it easy to personalize the time and date panel.

This method makes it easy to see the current time and date on Windows 10’s desktop.
