From its built-in apps, Windows 10 offers many features we can access from our desktops, such as calendar and map usage. In addition, it allows us to record our voice notes in MP3 format, which we may share with relatives and close friends. This remarkable application is useful for both personal and professional tasks. So, on Windows 10, how can one capture MP3 audio? Watch this space to find out!

How to Use Windows 10 to Record MP3?

Recording yourself has never been simpler, whether you’re working on a song demo or just need to scribble down thoughts quickly during a business conference. A workaround exists to convert voice recordings into MP3 media files, even though Windows 10 saves them as M4A files by default.

    Method 1: Through EaseUS

It is common practice to use EaseUS to record audio directly in MP3 files, removing the need to convert Windows 10 default files using third-party apps.

    1. Go to EaseUs’ official website and select the “Download for Win” option.
    2. Launch the installed program on your computer and select Scribe from the menu.
    3. Under Audio Source, choose the recording choices you want.
    4. Click Format under Output and choose MP3.
    5. Select the folder of your choice by clicking on Location.
    6. After selecting Record, select Stop.

    Method 2: Through AppGeeker

Another well-known program for recording audio in Windows 10 MP3 format is AppGeeker.

    1. Go to AppGeeker’s official website and select Download Now from the home screen.
    2. After launching the app, select Audio Recorder.
    3. After making your desired recording choices, click the gear icon above the microphone.
    4. Choose Output from the Preferences pop-up screen’s left menu.
    5. Click Audio Format under Audio Settings, then choose MP3.
    6. Click OK.
    7. Select REC from the home menu, and when you’re finished, select Stop.

How Can I Utilize Windows 10’s Recorder App?

You may make MP3 audio files with the recording program pre-installed in Windows 10.

Navigate to Settings, pick System from the menu on the left, then choose Sound.

    1. From the screen’s left corner, select Sound Control Panel.
    2. From the main tab, pick Recording.
    3. Press the OK button.
    4. Click on Open after entering “Recorder” into the search bar.
    5. In the app, click the Play button. When the recording is complete, click the Stop symbol.

We hope you now understand the various methods this article has shown you for saving MP3 on Windows 10. Please leave your comments and questions in the comment box.
