Can you remember mistakenly deleting an important TikTok message and quickly regretted it? Unfortunately, conversations with friends or business contacts can easily fall by the wayside. If you’ve carelessly erased a TikTok message from your iPhone or Android device, don’t worry—there are a few ways to get items back.

How to Recover TikTok Texts on Android and iPhone

    • Launch the TikTok application and locate the Account option.
    • Press the menu icon (three dots) in the upper right corner.
    • To access your accounts, go to Settings > Privacy > Accounts.
    • Navigate to the section where you can access your data.
    • Choose the “Request data” option.
    • Once the file is prepared, you can download it in your chosen format.

TikTok is now preparing your data for download. After everything is finished, you will receive an email with a link to download your data.

Please be patient; depending on the amount of data in that account, this could take several days.

You can retrieve the deleted messages by checking the downloaded file.

This method can be worth trying, particularly if you have recently erased the texts.

If your previous approach did not work and you use an Android device, you can try using a third-party recovery program to retrieve your lost TikTok messages. While many people turn to the Dr.Fone toolset, we recommend the app D-Back for iOS users.

    • Tap on the “Restore Mobile Data” button.
    • easily press the “Start Scan” button.
    • After completing the data restore, preview the files and pick the one you like.
    • You should see the Recover button when you get to the very bottom.

How to Recover TikTok Messages on iPhone?

One of the best third-party recovery solutions for iPhones is iMyFone D-Back.

    • To begin, get iMyFone D-Back software and install it on your computer.
    • Use a USB cord to link the device to your computer.
    • To enter recovery mode, follow the on-screen prompts.
    • Choose the desired data once your device has been removed. Select “Scan” from the menu.
    • Choose which messages you would like to retrieve.
    • When you’re ready to save the messages you want, choose Restore on the device or Restore to pc.
