The simplest method of transferring your iCloud contacts to an Android-powered smartphone is to download them from the iCloud website and upload the file to Google Contacts.
Step 1: Export Contacts from iCloud
- Login to www.icloud.com on either your computer or laptop using the preferred Apple ID.
- Click on the Contacts icon.
- Choose the contacts you wish to export. To select all, we have to choose any contact. Then, go to the top of the contact list, and your keyboard shortcuts will appear: Windows, CTRL-A, Mac, COMMAND A.

Step 2: Import Contacts to Google

- In the left sidebar, you should tap on ‘Import.’
- Then click Select File and open the VCF file exported from iCloud.
- After entering all the contacts, use the Import link to add the contacts to your Google account.
Step 3: Sync Contacts to Android
- On your Android phone, click the home screen, then click settings.
- Select the User & accounts option. Next, tap on Google.
- Choose the Google account that you synchronized your contacts into it.
- Ensure the Contacts toggle is on, syncing contacts with the phone.
Method 2: How to upload contacts from iCloud for Android without using a computer
- I remember going to my mobile browser and typing the URL, iCloud.com.
- Click on the three lines in the top right corner and choose a desktop site.
- This will make the contact option visible.
- Tap on Contacts.
- Tap on the small circle icon.
- Choose Select All Contacts.
- After the contact is copied, its content can be downloaded by tapping the Download icon.
- At the top, select export vCard from the menu list.
- Your personal database of contacts will be vCard-based.
- Go to Download and click on the Downloaded file. Next, tap on Import.
- Choose the account through which you’d like the contact to sync.
- Lastly, tap on OK.
Method 3: Using Third-Party Software
If you are an avid user of third-party Android backup applications, you can use SyncGene to import the contacts directly from iCloud to the Android applications.
- Go to SyncGene and sign up.
- Find the Add Account tab, choose iCloud, and type in your iCloud and password.
- Click the ‘Add Account’ link and log in to your Android account.
- Find the Filters tab, then click on the Contacts and sync the Departments you need to sync.
- Click Save, then Sync All.
