If you use Windows 11, you could have noticed that the Copilot button isn’t on your taskbar. This can be annoying if you use the tool to access your files and settings quickly. There are several reasons why the Copilot icon might not be visible: a broken system file, old drivers, or a problem with another software. This piece will discuss some of the most common reasons why the Copilot icon might not appear and give you simple instructions on how to fix the problem.

Why Can’t I Find the Copilot on My Laptop After the Update?

The Copilot icon may not have been there for the following reasons:

    • That’s not your Microsoft Account information.
    • Copilot might not be available where you are.
    • The latest software update could have bugs or cause problems.
    • This version of Windows might not work with Copilot.

Method 1: Check If Copilot is Available in Your Country

The Windows Copilot is currently available in parts of Asia, the UK, South America, and North America.

If you are in a place where Copilot isn’t available, set your Windows PC’s country settings to the United States and connect to it through a VPN on your Windows 11 PC.

If, on the other hand, you are in a place where Copilot is available, but its icon is still missing, turn off any VPNs, proxies, firewalls, or other tools that change your network on your PC.

Method 2: Sign in to your Microsoft Account again

Problems with security can sometimes stop Windows services from working on a PC.

Re-logging into your Microsoft Account might not directly fix the problem we’re talking about, but it can clear out your account settings and fix software bugs, which could be why the Windows 11 Copilot icon isn’t showing up.

Method 3: Turn on Copilot in Windows 11.

After installing the most recent Windows update, you can manually turn on the Copilot option. The icon will then appear again in the system tray.

    1. Go to Settings, click the Personalization tab, and click Taskbar in the right pane.

    2. Flip the switch to “Preview” on Copilot.

Method 4: Use the Run box.

You can get around this by running the command to open Copilot whenever necessary.

It won’t fix the problem for good, but it will help you get to the Copilot.

    1. press the Win + R keys together to open the Run box.

    2. In the chat box, type the following command:

    Microsoft Edge: Microsoft-edge://?ux=copilot&tcp=1&source=taskbar

Hey. To run the command, press Enter.

Method 5: Get rid of Windows Update

Since the Copilot icon is no longer there after the latest Windows update, you can either return to an earlier build or start Windows from scratch.

Before you do either of those things, though, we recommend backing up your information to avoid losing it.

    • Go to your Windows PC’s Control Panel and click the “Programs” tab. Then, click on “Uninstall a program.”
    • Click on View installed changes on the left side of the screen.
    • Click Uninstall next to the update title you want to remove.

Method 6: Use ViVeTool to reinstall Copilot.

ViVeTool is an open-source app that you can use to install Copilot if nothing else works.

You can get ViveTool from GitHub, where you can also download it.

    1. Once you’ve gotten the folder, put it where you want it and rename it ViveTool.

2.Then, run the control prompt as an administrator and click “Yes” at the UAC window.

    3. Type “cd C:\ViveTool” into the more enormous Command Prompt window and press “Enter.”

    4. Run the following code now:

To turn on vivetool with the IDs 44774629, 44850061, 44776738, 42105254, and 41655236

Here’s how to get the Copilot app on your iPhone, set it up, and use it.

Our guide will help you fix the problem where the Windows 11 Copilot button won’t show up.
